Hope Yoga

I love yoga.

I have a deep love and gratitude for the path of Yoga I have been travelling for almost 30 years.

It began with a Jane Fonda video from the library in 1994.

From the beginning I could feel my bones, body, and heart open with the wisdom and beauty of this ancient path. Yoga has been my medicine, my constant companion and guide through the beauty and mess of life.

I offer Hope Yoga as the result of my yoga journey, trainings, learnings and joy.

Hope Yoga is what it sounds like.

Hope through Yoga. Hope for a happy heart, a life of simple pleasures, deep love for life and living our best lives.

Menopause Yoga

My intention is to bring empowerment to women navigating all stages of Perimenopause and Menopause through Education, Wisdom and Hope.
 

Education through sharing the science of menopause, research-based practices, awareness of the physical changes and bodily aspects of menopause including bone, brain and heart health, diet, exercise and stress management.
 

Wisdom through the ancient teaching of Yoga. Applying yogic philosophy in the modern world through asana, mantra, pranayama and self-awareness. This includes the wisdom of Sacred Divine Feminine in all her forms.
 

Hope through reflective practices, sharing circles, journalling, movement, intention setting for spiritual and personal growth. 
 

Menopause Yoga embraces all the wonderful tools of yoga to support the wild transition of Menopause. Through yoga poses, mantra, breathe work, pranayama, mudra and yogic philosophy, Menopause Yoga offers tools to weave into everyday life off the yoga mat.
 

Through understanding science, western medicine, anatomy, the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda, we get to choose the individual path of our own menopause journey. There is no right or wrong way. Just the path you choose based on what you know to be true for you.

Note- I am an educator and Yoga Teacher.  I am not medically trained and will be sharing freely available information from reputable sources. My role is to share and educate, not advise or diagnose.

3 hour Workshop- Anxiety, sleep, and hormones
 

Anxiety, insomnia and stress can come alive in new ways in menopause. This workshop will look into nervous system regulation, stress reduction tools and develop a deep understanding of our bodies, hormones and how lifestyle can support us.
 

This workshop will include a yoga class, information session and playful sharing circle. It is suitable to women of all stages of peri / menopause. No yoga experience required.
 

Date and Time: September 2, 2023 10am-1pm

Venue: Wellspring Warburton

Cost: $75 or $65 Conc

Online Menopause Yoga Coming Soon


This will be a monthly subscription offering a Monthly Menopause focus.


Each month will include:

  • Weekly yoga class- (20-30 minutes)

  • Weekly Yoga tool to support menopause eg-meditation, mudra, mantra, breathe work (15 minutes)

  • Journalling prompts

  • Monthly live Hope Circle. This is a play date with other women in the program, offering fun connection, activities and conversation related to the Monthly focus. (90 minutes)

Cost: $20 AU per month
That’s the price of one yoga class.
